Troy Pryor, viola
Maryland native Troy Everett started his career at the age of 5 with the D.C. Youth Orchestra, which allowed him to perform at various high profile locations in D.C. At age 8 he began to study under Tsuna Sakamoto, a violist for the National Symphony Orchestra. Around this time, Troy was also able to study the drums and later the guitar. At the age of 12 Troy began his training in piano. At the age of 16, Sakamoto advised Troy to attend the prestigious Meadowmount School of Music to hone his skills even further. It was during his time that Troy was able to write his own music and develop his own sound in the form of instrumentals.
After receiving his performance degree from University of Maryland, Troy has continued to compose and produce his own music and play chamber music in the Washington DC area.
